Goal

The goal for this project was to scale the brand by becoming the definitive editorial guide to emerging music for the next generation of culture obsessives. Through detailed quantitative research and data analysis of the entertainment and events industry, and CompanyX’s current positioning within this environment, I was able to identify the best opportunities for growth in alignment with the needs and wants of loyal and potential consumers.

Process

Through extensive quantitative research, competitive and SWOT analyses, internal examinations, and the ideation of potential media products, I was able to pinpoint specific areas of opportunity for CompanyX to expand its reach and company offerings. Taking into account our most successful competitors locally and nationally enabled me to strategize an opening for CompanyX in the current landscape of the music and entertainment industry’s media presence and consumer interactions.

Outcomes

The final proposals of my work were received with excitement by CompanyX’s head of marketing, as the suggestions and mockups of potential media products successfully aligned with the company’s goals. I achieved this by creating actionable content strategies, outlining media product abilities and goals, and specifying the final products of each media venture. The ultimate media and marketing content strategy set CompanyX up for the type of scale it wishes to achieve in a competitive industry.
